We have a unique and exciting career opportunity for a Senior Network Administrator located at our campus in Lynnwood, WA.

Crane Aerospace & Electronics supplies critical systems and components to the aerospace and defense markets. You’ll find Crane Aerospace & Electronics in some of the toughest environments: from engines to landing gear; from satellites to medical implants and from missiles to unmanned aerial systems (UAS).

The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, installing, and supporting the company's computer systems. They will also design and install LANs, WANs, Internet and intranet systems, and network segments.

Primary responsibilities

  • Install and support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.

  • Install and maintain network hardware and software.

  • Analyze and isolate issues.

  • Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.

  • Evaluate and modify system's performance.

  • Identify user needs.

  • Determine network and system requirements.

  • Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security.

  • Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.

  • Design and deploy networks.

  • Perform network address assignment.

  • Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience

  • At least 3 years of related networking experience.

  • Strong understanding of Cisco, HP and Juniper switches and routers.

  • CCNA or higher certification preferred.

  • Strong understanding of TCPIP, Layer 2 and Layer 3 routing, IP address sub-netting and complex network infrastructures.

  • Solid understanding of routing protocols, security, VPN and VLAN configurations.

  • Experience and knowledge of managing multiple remote sites of high speed WAN circuits.

  • Experience with network sniffing, bandwidth monitoring and advanced network troubleshooting tools.

  • Proven project management and organizational skills, specifically managing multiple concurrent projects.

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills, applied with a solution-focused attitude.

  • Strong self-directed work habits, exhibiting initiative, drive, creativity, maturity, self-assurance and professionalism.

  • Excellent teamwork skills

Eligibility Requirement:

  • Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible.
