Purpose of Position Provide overall coordination, control and maintenance of company computers within the enterprise to ensure compatibility and integration with company strategies. Support day-to-day needs of PC users.
__ Essential Functions * Setup laptop/desktop PCs and computer peripherals. * Respond to user requests according to SLA. * Log and record all requests from users into the PC Support ticket database. * Develop, revise and sustain all PC related documentation. * Support PC hardware, peripherals, PDAs, Blackberries, iPhones, Androids and printers.
* Support approved software and/or applications. * Maintain accuracy of the Asset Management repository. * Timely completion of projects identified by management. * Develop, support and maintain IT processes and Policy deployment plans. * Follow IT standard work instructions and processes. * Respond to systems outages and assist in team problem triage and remediation of server and systems outages. * Active Directory (AD) administration. * Support wireless implementations / connectivity within the facility. * Ensure procured IT related equipment falls within approved hardware/software standards. * Investigate and research new IT technology. * Develop and support continuous improvement using DBS tools. * Provide regular on-call rotation. Other Non-Essential Functions * Other duties as assigned.
Education, Background and Skill Requirements * Four year degree in related field or minimum 2-years experience preferred. * A certification preferred. * Network , ITIL experience a plus * SCCM 22 experience a plus. * Formal network training or experience preferred. * Intermediate experience in Microsoft Resource tools required. * Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10/8/7/XP), server-based system software, LAN topologies and OSI reference model required. * Knowledge of Windows Server administration required. * Networking concepts and devices preferred. * Knowledge of CITRIX preferred. * Remote Desktop Manager experience. * Windows 7, 8 and 10 workstation installation and administration required. * Knowledge of Anti-Virus software required. * Experience with Microsoft applications required - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook. * Active Directory (AD) experience required. * Knowledge of TCP/IP required.
