BAE Systems Subcontract Admin II in Louisville, Kentucky

BAE is seeking an aggressive and highly adaptable individual to join its Supply Chain department in Louisville, KY. The individual must be able to work in a fast paced, challenging environment while supporting multiple contracts, proposals, and programs.

*Job Description

This position is responsible for all planning and sourcing activities required to assure continuity of supply for their assigned materials. Activities include request for proposals/quotes, analyzing costs and the ability to write a price and/or cost analysis, lead negotiations, and place compliant purchase orders according to internal procedures and FAR/DFAR regulations. They will also be responsible for creating and executing supporting agreements and manage all contract deliverables.

Minimum Education And Experience

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience

  • Lead and advise in the strategy, design and issuing of bids (RFI, RFQ and RFP) while ensuring accuracy and completeness

  • Analyzing quotes and writing a detailed price/cost analysis.

  • Create and execute supporting agreements (PIAs, Letter of Subcontracts)

  • Ability to lead formal negotiations (price, schedule and supplier exceptions to contractual requirements)

  • Execute existing commodity/category strategies to include ongoing development of savings.

  • Manage contract deliverables and supplier performance

  • Performing subcontract closeout actions, completes file documentation, and transfer files accordingly
