The Asset and Liability Management (ALM) unit in Citigroup Treasury is responsible for:
Continuing development of a system, named “Ruby”, which is used as a platform for: - Balance Sheet and Net Interest Revenue forecasting that is required for the CCAR process
Calculation of Interest Rate Risk metrics
Citi’s regular business planning and interest rate scenario analyses
Developing statistical models for forecasting product balances and interest rates as a function of economic conditions and market rates, for all of Citi’s material businesses globally
Working with the business Planning teams and Interest Rate Risk Management function to set up forecasts and scenarios in Ruby
Executing rate scenarios and providing analytics around Citi’s interest rates exposure
The candidate’s job responsibilities would include:
Monitor and control progress on the different functions in the ALM unit.
Requires ability to effectively track progress and escalate potential issues timely.
Preparation and coordination of all documentation to be presented to the Working group committee on a monthly basis.
Support senior management in decision-making by producing analyses on strategic/critical topics.
Work with senior management in producing all documentation and update requests from regulatory agencies (FED, OCC, FDIC) as well as from Internal Audit.
Develop a strong working relationship with Risk, Finance and Operations Technology counterparts across the Organization.
Minimum 6 plus years’ experience in a Treasury and/or Finance role
BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting, MBA and completion of FMA program preferred
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills with colleagues at all levels within the organization
Excellent organizational skills
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to collaborate as part of a team
Keen learner and self-starter
