EMEA Talent Development Coordinator - S&P global - London

The Role: Our Human Resource professionals are accountable for establishing and maintaining the strategy, processes, and systems that enable S&P Global to fully leverage the skills and talents of all our people. As a member of the Global Talent Team, the Learning & Development Senior Specialist will play an important global and regional role. The L&D Specialist will be responsible for partnering with LMS administrators to maintain global LMS standards and processes and for providing support and guidance to business division administrators. The individual in this role will also ensure coordination for our curriculum offerings in EMEA, market and communicate offerings throughout the region, consult with employees on appropriate training, and deliver training and development solutions. This individual will also partner with global peers to develop and implement a variety of Talent and development solutions.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the L&D LMS administrator, ensuring that courses are appropriately set up and monitored.

Provide logistical support to internal and external faculty; partner with internal and external facility venues to manage appropriate program set-up requirements

Monitor program attendance and address enrolment issues to help ensure class requirements are met, appropriate attendees are targeted and/or enrolled, and that employees are aware of course pre- and post-program requirements

Evaluate course metrics and maintain relationships with delivery vendors to ensure high quality facilitation and cost effectiveness of development programmes.

Create regional training metrics and reports that evaluate program efficacy, monitor online learning usage, identify learning and performance trends, help address development needs, etc.

Partner with manager and Global Talent to schedule annual training in region; monitor enrolments, nominations, and program logistics.

Support the communication and marketing of learning programs through the creation of employee communications, the ongoing maintenance of intranet pages, drafting of newsletters and employee communications, etc.

Research and present learning industry trends to foster an improved classroom experience and online and social learning innovations.

Partner with manager to identify and provide development solutions for employees; responding to inquiries and directing employees to appropriate training.

Partner with Global team to assist with the design and implementation of development programs

Requirements:

Relevant University degree or equivalent through CIPD or experience (MBA/Masters desirable).

Experience with LMS administration

Foundational experience with conducting needs analysis, training metrics, and instructional design strategies preferred.

Knowledge of online and virtual learning best-practices

Effective facilitation and presentation skills

Ability to establish positive working relationships and to work in a collaborative team environment

Strong project management skills related to the design and roll-out of development programmes

Strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and to organize and prioritize daily work

Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

Proven ability to achieve results in ambiguous and complex situations; maintaining work within high levels of confidentiality when needed

Experience in Talent, Learning & Development, HR, or related field
