Our team

The role sits within the Learning & Development team within Corporate & Investment Bank Human Resources. The team has considerable depth of expertise, and designs and delivers programs, events and interventions of a world-class standard. It is highly-regarded by the HR partners and the businesses with whom we work.

Opportunity

This Associate or VP level role consists principally of strategic initiative and project support for the CIB L&D team, working in close partnership with the global training and development leads within the CIB as well as the CLOs of the Firm. There will also be some projects for other lines of business outside of the CIB, or that span across the Firm.

Key responsibilities:

  • Partner with colleagues on program and session development, implementation and evaluation, which may include working on sponsorship, vendors, participants, logistics, tracking, budgeting, and communications

  • Data analytics, including extracting themes, creating summaries and developing recommendations for action plans

  • Involvement in annual processes such as talent management and promotions

  • Relationship management with vendors, HR and Communications colleagues and internal clients.

Requirements

The role requires an enthusiastic, proactive and dedicated individual, who is organized and can manage competing priorities. They will need to have a collaborative approach, and deal confidently with people at all levels in the organization. Due to the broad remit of this role, there is plenty of scope to bolster skillset and progress in the L&D function in particular.

  • Data analysis skills

  • Strong Project management skills

  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel knowledge

  • Ability to compose communications fluently

  • Strong work ethic with desire to produce high quality and consistent work

  • Knowledge of training and development and Human Resources a plus

  • Understanding of and navigating a large corporate environment

Desirable skills

  • Understanding of the Financial Services industry

  • Creativity and ability to problem solve

  • Strong presentation skills
