Responsible for supporting all aspects for the computer applications systems life cycle from requirement definition through the implementation of new features or extended software for IBM Maximo Version 7.1+. Analyzes user requirements and prepares system design documents defining input(s), output(s), and interfaces, based on defined requirements. Develops software in accordance with technical design documents, applicable information technology (IT) standards, and ensures all designs are technically complete and properly represents the policies and objectives of the WAPA maintenance offices.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
Experience supporting IBM Maximo and designing, developing and support Maximo solutions, such as: Service Requests, Asset Management, Work Order Management, Preventitive Maintnance and Inventory Management.

- Mastery and skill in applying life-cycle system engineering methodology to design, develop and implement new systems or major enhancements to existing systems. "Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
