Role Purpose:

In a position with Food Services, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families, fellow employees and physicians. Employees have the opportunity to learn on the job and progress through the various roles that allow Food Services to enhance the customer experience and carry out our Mission to deliver exceptional health care services.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operates required equipment, including the dish machine
  • Prepares and delivers room service meals to patients in their rooms
  • Serves cafeteria customers by attending the grill, entrée station or specialty food or beverage bar, oroperating a cash register

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to walk, stand and bend for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Safe Serve Certification
  • Experience in related environment, operating a cash register or working as a host/hostess
  • Comfortable accessing patient rooms
