CLINICAL NURSE – SPECIAL NEEDS COORDINATOR (SNC)
Interested in servicing our military and their families—InGenesis has an opportunity for a Clinical Nurse—Special Needs Coordinator to provide services at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. This opportunity offers a structured Monday-Friday work schedule, health benefits, 10 paid Federal Holidays, 2 weeks Paid Time Off and opportunity to be granted a Government Security Clearance.
• Graduate of an ADN with 3 years of full time nursing & care coordination experience OR BSN with 2 years of full time nursing & care coordination experience • Knowledge to apply SNC functions ◦ Assessment ◦ Planning ◦ Facilitation
• Knowledge in medical privacy and confidentiality (HIPPA) • Knowledge in Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) • Knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC) • Computer Skills to include Microsoft Office Programs, MS Outlook (email) and internet familiarity • Critical thinking Skills • Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally
As a SNC at JB Andrews you will manage and oversee the Exceptional Family Member Program--Medical (EFMP-M). The SNC establishes and maintains procedures to identify family members with special medical and educational needs. The SNC uses a multi-disciplinary and collaborative approach with other key services providers.
