Remote Access Services delivers measurable business value by providing core remotes access technology solutions that meet business demand while realizing cost efficiencies. RA works with our Line of Business partners to develop standardized, resilient operating environments and implement a global technology strategy for the firm's 260,000 end users and 125,000+ virtual access users.

The individual selected for this position will be a member of the Workspace Services Remote Access Engineering team in a lead position. To ensure that Remote Access is available to clients, the candidate will be responsible for providing Engineering solutions, implementation, and business-as-usual activities.

The responsibilities also cover daily health checks, configuration reviews, capacity management, incident management, root cause analysis, service improvement programs, risk management, security patching, general maintenance activities are important parts of this job, as are the design and implementation and acceptance of new technology into the environment. The individual will work closely with other teams, especially those providing operational, infrastructure (server hardware/OS, NAS, SAN, network), project management, and lower-tier client support services. Engineering activities is a continuous global services model via follow the sun.

This position is anticipated to require the use of one or more High Security Access (HSA) systems. Users of these systems are subject to enhanced screening which includes both criminal and credit background checks, and/or other enhanced screening at the time of accepting the position and on an annual basis thereafter. The enhanced screening will need to be successfully completed prior to commencing employment or assignment.

Technical Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience and strong skills in supporting Server / Application / Desktop Virtualization technologies (VMWare, Citrix) and Large-Scale environments; certification is preferred

  • 3-5 years’ experience and proven ability to support Microsoft Windows server environment (AD, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Group Policies, IIS, File, Print Service, App-V, etc.); certification is preferred

  • Thorough understanding of Citrix Xen Desktop 5x, 7x> and Familiarity of thin terminal management (Wyse, HP and eLux Thin Manage) products

  • Thorough understanding of Citrix XenApp 4.5, 6.x and 7.x products, Citrix Provisioning Services, Policies, Load Balancing, Store front, Cert renewals, and IMA / FMA Architecture

  • Proficient with Citrix NetScalar (Install, Configuration and Management), Cert renewals etc.

  • Familiarity with standard enterprise applications such as MS SQL 2005/2008, Tivoli, SCOM, SharePoint, Splunk, etc.

  • Basic understanding of SAN, Networking, Security, and Backup Technologies.

  • Familiarity with quality assurance and systems testing protocols in a complex technical environment

  • Proficiency with standard desktop applications including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Word

  • Scripting and automation (Perl/PowerShell/Python) skills are required
