The Technology Transformation and Governance Lead is responsible for the governance of strategy, standards, architecture and design across Commercial Bank's technology portfolio. The Lead will have responsibility for the management and governance of the GT Vision program across CB Technology. This role will also contribute to the strategy and design of overall enterprise architecture roadmap. This role reports into the CB Head of Architecture, Engineering, and Data Management, and will partner with the Commercial Banking CTOs, their Architects and application development teams, as well as Global Technology Engineering & Architecture.

Candidates must demonstrate a proven history of running governance programs in a large and complex organization. This individual must possess excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to reach senior business management as well as technical audiences. Maximize leverage by identifying shared services, overlapping capabilities and convergence to standards in order to improve efficiency and quality, and reduce time to value. The preferred candidate will have detail orientation, a broad background in application development and architecture, be able to work independently to solve complex problems, and still be technical yet possess the soft skills work with a variety of partners.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Understand and communicate Commercial Bank business drivers

  • Translate business strategy into application architecture vision

  • Determine current state application landscape

  • Establish future state target of application architecture that enables speed of innovation, client engagement, and process efficiency

  • Layout application roadmap for execution based on business capability priorities

  • Engage with Chief Development Office to identify application technology risk based on firmwide and Commercial Bank platform and development standards

  • Collaborate with all tower Chief Technology Officers and Design Authorities to plan and implement towards the application and engineering backlog

  • Maintain evergreen Commercial Bank application and engineering process including tracking hygiene, reporting and dash-boarding

Qualifications

  • 10 years of technology experience

  • 5 years architecture experience

  • Familiarity with industry enterprise architecture framework

  • Experience with Financial Services industry

  • Functional application design authority experience preferred

  • Public cloud experience a bonus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Executive presence with high-level of credibility technically with business knowledge

  • Excellent team player who focus on team success
