Summary of Position Goals and Duties:

ThePICC Nurseprovides advanced nursing practice support to improve patient outcomes in accordance with Specialty Hospital’s mission, vision and values. The PICC Nurse’s responsibility involves the insertion, removal and de-clotting of Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC) for patients who have this procedure ordered.

EDUCATION: * Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing, at least an Associate Degree in Nursing is required

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: * An active state of Florida Registered Nurse (RN) License is required * A PICC Certification is required

*EXPERIENCE: * * 1 - 3 years RN experience is required * 1 year minimum PICC experience preferred
