Current Need

We are seeking an Inbound Logistics Analyst to join our team in Jacksonville, FL

Position Description

This position is responsible for managing shipment Information, ordering requirements, lead times and demand projections to assist in the scheduling and confirmation of delivery appointments for all MMSI Distribution Centers. The position is accountable for carrier and supplier service metrics leading to greater supply chain efficiencies. The role will interact with both internal and external, cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review Carrier appointment scheduling, on-time service performance against low supply items and building resolution plan to maximize each DC’s receipts on a per day basis

  • Through on-going communications with each MMSI DC, understand the current daily capacity constraints of each receiving department

  • Review daily service failures both FDC and carrier related to establish corrective action plans

  • Responsible for all reporting – daily, ad-hoc, and canned

  • Responsible for the implementation and execution of supply chain compliance fees

  • Responsible for daily operations troubleshooting and support

QualificationsMinimum Requirements

2+ years inventory experience

Critical Skills

  • 1+ years experience with analytics and/or logistics

  • Intermediate experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with creating and editing written reports

  • Transportation industry experience

  • Experience with a scheduling software application

  • EDI experience

  • Office 365 experience

  • Experience with C3 SaaS System

  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Attention to detail

Education

4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience
