FleetPride Sr HRIS/Comp Analyst in Irving, Texas

Position Summary The incumbent will act as the project lead for HRIS initiatives, working with external vendors and internal customers to support HR processes. The role will be responsible for identifying and recommending HRIS system solutions to maximize software capabilities. Gathering, preparing, reporting and understanding HR data with a strategic perspective for key business stakeholders is integral to success. The “Subject Matter Expert” on functionality and features within the HR systems applications. Compensation responsibilities include development of compensation philosophies, policies and procedures as it relates to the compensation program. Educate managers on compensation philosophies, evaluate positions, and provide compensation and market analysis. Job Duties:

  • Administers HRIS solutions to support HR policies, strategies and processes

  • Serves as technical point of contact to interact with external vendor partners for HRIS systems and interfaces

  • Periodically review and researches HR processes to align with system workflow and makes recommended HRIS functional and technical process improvements

  • Demonstrates communication (written and verbal) skills to make recommendations about HR technology

  • Maintains HRIS databases and platforms (i.e., UltiPro, ADP, WorkDay, Cognos, etc.)

  • Facilitates testing/implementation/changes/upgrades to HRIS

  • Maintains a good track record to handle high level of confidential employee data

  • Provides data for HR Metrics and Executive Scorecards to be delivered to key internal stakeholders

  • Supports data audits to validate HR system data integrity

  • Works with all HR disciplines (i.e., Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Compensation, Performance Management, etc.) and responds to ad hoc requests periodically

  • Applies knowledge of HR functional areas, laws and regulations affecting HRIS technical environment, preferred

  • Provides database management, data analytics, and data reporting expertise

  • Creates project plans, including timeframes and milestones, while effectively setting and communicating project expectations to team members and stakeholders

  • Documents processes and ensures customer/business partner buy-in, identify process changes and develop action plans in partnership with HR leadership to ensure adoption of changes

  • Reviews and revises job descriptions and maintains the job description library. Uses job evaluation techniques to establish compensation rates that are equitable within the organization and comparable to market rates

  • Ensures legal and regulatory compliance, compares compensation to market benchmarks, tracks salary budgets and analyzes salary trends

  • Collaborates with HR leadership to recommend market adjustments, promotions and rates for job offers

  • Interprets and adheres to local, state, federal laws regulating compensation practices Requirements Education Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field Professional Experience

  • Three to Five years of relevant experience

  • Experience with Ultimate Software and/or ADP is preferred

  • Experience with Cognos Business intelligence

  • Understanding data models, database management and system integration

  • Experience in a fast pace, rapidly changing environment

  • Experience with MS Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint

  • Project and/or Program Management experience
