The overall goal of the Service Analyst is to assess trends based on root cause analysis of service failures through a detailed understanding of driver utilization, customer expectations, and operational flow. These trend reports will be used to generate action plans, both internal as well as external to our customers, as a major step toward becoming and maintaining our role as the Premier Service Provider. This individual will work closely with every operations team to create accurate data assessments of our service.
Follow all company guidelines and procedures as set forth in your employee and departmental handbooks. You are required to understand 100% of their content.
Work in RCA, root cause analyzing every late load
Utilize DIS to create weekly reports
Take initiative in gathering feedback and following up on action plans
Maintain the desire to constantly look for ways to improve our programs for efficiency and accuracy
4-yr college degree, or 3 years of relevant work experience in the transportation industry is required.
Previous experience in customer service related field, working with customers daily.
Experience in transportation or related field preferred.
Knowledge of PC's and Microsoft Office Suite of programs
Understanding of DOT hours of service regulations.
Ability to read and understand North American geography.
Professional communication skills with customers, driver management, CRAs, and load planners
