Description

Summary: The HRIS Specialist is the IT arm of HR, and assists in providing technical support to the Human Resources department, including Payroll and Benefits. This position focuses on system implementation, development, and administration, testing of system changes, and analyzing data flows for process improvement. Additional responsibilities include ensuring data integrity and cultivate strategies to provide information through reporting. Will work individually and on a team to participate in the technical design, development, testing and support of HR systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and designing HRIS including workflow automation, data validation, security maintenance, training, etc.

  • Document system processes and create manuals for administrators and end users

  • Extract and analyze data across HR systems and reconcile variations

  • Create customized reports for internal auditing purposes and for distribution

  • Assist in supporting in the Human Resources Department for systems related functions

  • Provide software support for end users

  • Ensure individual and team objectives are met by ensuring deep understanding of KPIs and actively seek ways to improve

  • Assist managers and employees with HRIS/Kronos issues

Minimum Requirements

Requirements:

  • Excellent problem solving/analytical abilities to independently resolve a variety of routine and complex issues

  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask with attention to detail

  • Ability to identify, drive, and/or participate in implementing process improvement activities

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, where multiple priorities need to be effectively managed, while maintaining composure and flexibility in a structure environment

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills

  • Excellent follow-up skills

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

  • HRIS/Kronos experience preferred
