The IT Infrastructure Manager leads a team of technical professionals responsible for the support/enhancement of Stericycle’s enterprise network, servers, telephony services, call center platforms plus critical applications supporting the business functions. This position leads teams that implement appropriate solutions, manage change and support of key systems while working with senior management to understand their technology requirements, research solutions and present various options to meet the business’ needs. This position will also be responsible for administration, tuning, availability, optimization and as well as be responsible for providing second and third level support for Stericycle’s extensive global technical infrastructure.

Set direction for a team of technical professionals providing all levels of IT support, developing and ensuring adherence of policy, procedures and efficiency. Mentor and manage team members.
Manage major aspects of call center platforms and relevant business applications on systems including Interactive Intelligence, Avaya, VM, Cisco networking, Security and Internet sercices.
Optimize & support Client systems, LAN, WAN, and remote network access environments to maximize their uninterrupted availability.
Cross functionally work with management and business clients to discuss new initiatives and status of ongoing projects.
Lead change management initiatives as well as provide leadership and guidance to multiple group team members, distributing tasks and cross training as appropriate.
Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Education and Experience required (including certifications and/or software requirements for the position):
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a field with substantial base of Information Technology and Telecommunications is required, MBA degree is preferred;
A minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience in managing technical and/or support groups.
Ability to be a versatile, provide on call leadership, team player who can successfully address several independent tasks at once.
Strong business, operational, and procedural knowledge of IS Support is required and have working knowledge of support and network management technologies.
Possess a good balance of strong technical and business skills, as well as superior inner-personal skills.
We also desire someone with superior planning and organizational skills that effectively allocate and manage resources across multiple sites or locations.
Highly developed analytical skills, financial planning skills, and the proven ability to conduct root cause analysis is essential.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, problem solving, decision-making, as well as presentation skills are necessary.
Knowledgeable in current and possible future policies practices, trends, technology, and information affecting the business.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal and consultative skills and the ability to work in concert with others to accomplish objectives and goals; ability to build solid working relationships across divisions/functions; ability to gain agreement on issues and next steps from a diverse audience.
Demonstrates the ability to deal openly and honestly with internal and external customers while building credibility and maintaining trust.

Position requires the following physical activities:
Fingering – frequently type with the fingers, and/or separate pages of documents, etc,
Grasping – frequently apply pressure to an object with the fingers and palm
Hearing – constantly perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction
Lifting – occasionally raise objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position
Pulling – occasionally use upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion
Pushing – occasionally use upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward
Reaching – frequently extend hand (s) and arm (s) in any direction
Repetitive motion – occasional substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands and/or fingers
Seeing – constantly use visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations

Visual acuity - Must have close visual acuity to perform activities such as, preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, filing papers, operating a vehicle, etc.
Must be able to exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally to move objects.
Must be able to travel. Travel varies in frequency and duration.
