The Commercial Insurance Admin Support position provides a high level of service to our commercial lines clients and helps us maintain strong relationships with our customers.

In this role you will:

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to department members. Assist with processing client and prospect needs in accordance with company objectives and procedures.

  • Responsible for scanning/electronic filing of communication and documents

  • Process endorsement requests and submit information to the appropriate insurance companies and other third parties

  • Process certificate requests within one day. Process renewal certificates

  • Check in policies for accuracy and communicate variances with account manager

  • Issue renewal binders and invoices as designated by account managers

  • Assist in renewal processing

  • Assist service units with change requests, audit processing and monthly reporting

  • Assist service units with various clerical duties

  • Process incoming-mail as designated by team members

  • Maintain electronic and hard copy client files per agency standards

  • Assist account managers with building client policy/coverage database

  • Maintain good working relationships within office and department

  • Provide phone assistance for office

  • Follow agency procedures and insurance company regulations

  • Perform other specific duties or projects as assigned

  • Excellent verbal skills and telephone etiquette

  • Above average math skills

  • Insurance knowledge preferred, but not required

  • Property/casualty license preferred, but not required
