As a full-time SDE, you will have fun researching, designing, prototyping and building software. You have a unique chance to be pioneering in a fresh new project, to learn, to influence, and to develop highly disruptive software that will serve the developers who are directly targeting the end-customers. You will be able to meet your customers face-to-face, and get feedback from Lead SDETs who use our tools to solve important problems in the Consumer Experience Technology organization. We interact with partner teams across Amazon to share knowledge and exchange contributions.
The job is highly technical, so we are looking for someone with solid coding skills and a proven track record of shipping products.
Computer Science or similar degree
Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
Minimum of 2 years of software development experience
Strong object-oriented design and coding skills in Java
General understanding of UNIX-based operating systems
Skillful at designing, building and troubleshooting complex service-oriented systems
Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment
Familiar with libraries/API development
Advanced level of written and spoken English
