We are currently seeking a dedicated Parking Control Monitor to join our team at Cape Cod Hospital. PURPOSE OF POSITION: To ensure motor vehicle parking of patients, staff, and visitors is done in accordance with hospital policy, rules, and regulations. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Manage parking on Cape Cod Hospital property and adjacent buildings. 2. Write, issue, and record parking violations on a daily basis. 3. Assists in controlling traffic flow in parking lots. 4. Assists and/or directs patients, visitors. 5. Maintain required records, including logs of parking enforcement activities and reports as required. 6. Maintain department equipment and supplies, and report problems to Supervisor. 7. Monitors physical aspects of the parking lots and motor vehicles for safety. 8. Respond to and make radio dispatch calls regarding parking violations and complaints. Consistently provides service excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, volunteers and co-workers in a manner that reflects Cape Cod Healthcare's commitment to CARES: compassion, accountability, respect, excellence and service. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: · Ability to read, write and communicate in English. · High school education or GED. · Must have good writing and verbal skills and have the ability to produce a concise, accurate, well written report. · Ability to relate to all age and ethnic groups in a courteous and professional manner. · Possession of a valid driver's license. · CPI course required to be completed in the first available course once hired
