Northrop Grumman Technology Services in Huntsville, AL is looking for a Manager Business Management 1 for the GMD DSC program who will report to the Applied Mission Technologies Business Unit Business Management Director and functionally to the NGTS GMD Program Director.

Qualified candidates must be highly skilled in financial and business analysis and reporting with the ability to clearly communicate with senior management as it relates to financial program status and analyses.
She/he must have the ability to set up a cost control system, monitor and control GMD DSC program costs and schedules using validated cost schedule control systems.
You will be skilled at using an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) using Micro-frame Program Management (MPM) for cost reporting, Microsoft Project for scheduling and SAP for cost collection.
Responsible for monthly CPR, CFSR and other cost and schedule input for CDRL reporting.
Perform cost and schedule analyses and prepares reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon cost and schedule parameters and government cost control guidelines.
Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
Be familiar with program startup efforts and support of the Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) and required data packages.
Lead and coordinate IBRs on suppliers when required.
Ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, preparing expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.
Incorporate contractual changes into baselines and control systems in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.
The position will also require the candidate to serve as point of contact for Financial Planning, Managing Supplier EVMS flow downs, EACs, Resource Planning, Budgeting, Rates, and Annual Operating Plan inputs.
Interface with and provide support to Supply Chain Management, Contracts, Pricing/Proposals and Scheduling.
Provide direction and resolution of business issues with internal and external customer representatives.
Be familiar with approving supplier funding and subcontract changes.
Be skilled in reviewing and certifying proposals/BOEs for program change orders, which would include coordination with suppliers when required.
Be skilled in identifying program risks and opportunities.
Travel is not planned for this position, but one or two trips per year could be required.
Bachelor's degree in business discipline with minimum 10 years experience OR 8 years experience with Masters OR High School diploma with minimum 14 years experience
Advanced Knowledge of Earned Value
In-depth knowledge of finance and business disciplines
Intermediate to advanced-level of understanding of the following systems or software: Micro-Frame Program Manager (MPM) (or similar project management software), wInsight, SAP, and Business Warehouse (BW)
Advanced level experience with Excel (to include macros and advanced formulas)
Experience communicating and integrating cost and schedule reporting with other companies and ability to present to senior NG management
Active DOD Secret security clearance
US Citizenship required
Master’s degree in Business
