Will read blueprints, build wire bundles, install wire bundles, use electronic test equipment, and determine courses of action regarding troubleshooting procedures.
Assembly tasks requiring use of hand-held assembling tools. Candidate may assist in other areas such as, testing, potting, etc.
This position is not limited to common wiring practices but also the ability to test instruments, maintain onboard circuitry.
Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgement in planning work sequence, in selecting tools, testing instruments, and is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices.
Maintain on-time schedules for assigned projects.
Perform with high throughput and with minimal errors.
Create documents such as work instructions, parts lists, inventory reports.
Other duties may be assigned.
Able to stand for 8 or more hours a day.
Able to lift 50 pounds.
Minimum 5 years of stable experience.
Experience soldering under a microscope.
Professionalism, positive attitude and ability to be a team player.
Must be able to follow Instructions, be highly motivated and pay attention to detail.
Computer skills associated with assembly tasks, i.e., including creating work instructions, parts lists, and inventory reports.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.
Ability to multitask and adjust to flexible work requirements.
Proactive, resourceful, well-organized, and highly motivated.
Able to pay attention to detail.
Experience assembling electromechanical assemblies and cable harnesses and reading the associated documents (assembly drawings, electrical schematics, etc.).
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Current or Recent IPC-A-610 or J-STD 0001 Certification.
Familiar with IPC 610 standards, Certification, a plus.
