Summary

Responsible for leading and overseeing all Supply Chain activities including Planning, Purchasing, Stores, Materials Management, and Supplier Management. Accountable for all staff activities and provides leadership, clear direction and mentoring to the Supply Chain team. Interfaces with stakeholders and collaborates with a variety of other functional areas in order to deliver program and Company results that achieve business goals and objectives. Ensures all activities adhere to the contract obligations, Zodiac DCIS quality standards and are responsive to the customers’ needs and market opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•Collaborates with Executive and Senior leadership team to ensure companywide initiatives and business objectives are met.

•Leads the enterprise strategy for the Planning, Purchasing, Stores, Materials Management and Supplier Management departments at Zodiac DCIS.

•Develops strategic relationships with suppliers and stakeholders internally and externally.

•Owns and develops a Supply Chain Strategy that maximizes value to the Zodiac DCIS.

•Provides leadership to system development and oversees integration across Zodiac DCIS to maximize return on technology investment

•Provides leadership and expertise with regard to project execution including business planning, requirements gathering, execution and setting of expectations throughout the project lifecycle

•Provides leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching and developmental goals.

•Ensures all objectives for all departmental personnel are established and actively mentors and develops employees to obtain greater capabilities and assume greater responsibilities.

•Contributes to, and provides support of, proposal development, strategic planning and budgeting.

•Provides leadership to cross-functional project teams including functional areas within Zodiac DCIS as well as external customer and vendor team members.

•Reviews work of Functional Managers and all key decisions to ensure company objectives are met and execution of program/project budgets and schedules for each program are accomplished.

•Shares knowledge across organizational boundaries and promotes continuous process improvement.

•Maintains regular attendance including being at work, being on time to work and working full shifts.

•Other duties as assigned.

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification

Bachelor's degree in business or engineering discipline with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in the aerospace industry.

MBA or Master’s Engineering/Supply Chain or related area strongly preferred

Minimum of 10 years people management experience.

5+ years transportation interiors strongly preferred. Aerospace mergers and acquisitions experience preferred.

CPIM and APICS certifications are a plus.

•Ability to sit for extended periods of time, use hands to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and have close/color vision ability to adjust focus.

•Ability to travel as required.

•Ability to work outside of core business hours as required.
