BAE Systems Material Handler 3 in Huntington Bay, New York

BAE Systems in Greenlawn, NY is looking for a Shipping Coordinator to join their growing team!

The Shipping Coordinator's duties are as follows -

  1. Review shipping schedules weekly for all programs. Elevate any issues or concerns and notify Program Management/planning to correct.

  2. Daily communication and interaction with OPM and project planning for scheduled shipments and any changes to shipping plan.

  3. Ability to coordinate and multi task shipping tasks and document creation. This includes preparation of shippers, moving material for final QA buyoff ,Government buyoff into final destination to Shipping Department .

  4. Print and review SNR report prior to receiving units.

  5. Verify work orders are completed and material is on hand in inventory. If back orders exist communicate to planning to clear and completely close work order.

  6. Complete move transaction to OKAY to Ship location and assure project number is correct interface with production planning/OPM if required.

  7. Ability to work with all team members moving material to various areas in a timely manner to achieve a successful work flow.

  8. Ability to navigate Oracle ERP module and Solumina shop floor module for inventory transactions and work order status.

  9. Ability to be proactive in all phases of coordinating shipments to meet our weekly/monthly production schedule and revenue. plan.

  10. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

Required Skills And Education

Required education: Associates Degree

Microsoft Office, Communication skills- both written and verbal, and ability to work in team environment.
