Summary & Responsibilities

This role is responsible for classroom and web-based training needs analysis, design, implementation and maintenance. Assists with development of training materials that meet identified training objectives and comply with established development standards. Maintain expertise as instructional technologist. Facilitate training sessions.

This role is responsible for the development of classroom and web-based training. Successful candidate must be familiar with, and capable of working through the ADDIE (Analyze-Design-Develop-Implement-Evaluate) process for instructional design. Responsible for the development of new, and maintenance of existing, training programs. Works to develop training materials that meet identified training objectives and comply with established development standards. Candidate is expected to develop/maintain expertise as instructional technologist, working with various development software programs and the Company’s learning management system (LMS). Must be able to facilitate train-the-trainer sessions. May be asked to assist with facilitating training sessions.

Job Qualifications

3 years experience developing training content

Full knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent personal computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

Experience with InfoMapping principles/tools and CBT/WBT development platform preferred

Good analysis and problem solving skills

Good organizational skills

Ability to train and lead others

Ability to process information and questions quickly and develop answers

Education Required

Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor , Other Education: Education, Adult Learning

Office Work Environment 76-100%
