We are seeking a nephrologist who will play an important role in the clinical and academic endeavors of our facility's new Renal Transplant Program. The ideal candidate must have a demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care including training in kidney transplant immunobiology, excellence in teaching renal fellows, medical residents and medical students, as well as dedication to scholarship and commitment to developing a research career. Clinical duties will include attending on the renal inpatient/outpatient consult team and staffing 2-4 half-day per week clinics for kidney transplantation.

Work Schedule; Part-Time (20 hours per pay period) Alternate tours may be available.

Basic Requirements*: *

  • United States Citizen.
  • Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
  • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.

Preferred Experience: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine/*Nephrology*
