The Fixed Assets Accountant will support the accounting for all BHI product lines in Latin America. The position reports directly to the Global Fixed Asset Finance Manager.


  • Under general supervision, perform general accounting work that is varied and that may be somewhat difficult in character, but usually involving limited responsibility.

  • Perform Fixed Asset month end journal entries

  • Review and approve Fixed Asset balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Review and verify the accuracy of journal vouchers, accounting methods and procedures.

  • Handle special projects as assigned.

  • Assist in Fixed Asset physical count system in SAP


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with 3 years of Accounting experience

  • Fluent in English and Spanish (and prefer Portuguese as well).

  • Possesses and applies knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures

  • Good attention to detail with good analytical skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to handle multiple activities successfully

  • Excellent time-management skills

  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving problems

  • Advanced PC skills – especially MS Excel


  • Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese

  • Experience in the Fixed Assets module of SAP

  • Experience using Hyperion (HFM)

  • Experience working in diverse global environment

  • Prior exposure to accounting in multiple currencies

  • CPA certification is a plus
