In your role as the Human Resources Manager for DataHouse, you will serve as a key member of the ‘ike HR Foundational Services team and be responsible for the daily HR operations of DataHouse. Celebrating 40 years of innovation, DataHouse is Hawaii’s premier software development/IT consulting company. Working here means you’ll influence management on issues related to people and organizational needs, ensuring they are aligned with business goals. Serve as a key, trusted advisor to senior management on all issues. Contribute to the overall business strategy by helping identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes.
Partner with ‘ike HR foundational services to provide excellent service and support to DataHouse in a variety of HR functions, with an emphasis in recruiting and onboarding top talent, performance management, employee relations, leadership development, management training and organizational development, compensation and benefits administration, and rewards and recognition. Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Provide on-going, proactive guidance to management and employees (coaching, counseling, career development, corrective action) to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention. Drive positive employee relations, including identifying and implementing employee engagement initiatives.
Manage, resolve or prevent complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations when necessary.
Identify and drive the communication and sharing of learning across functions and develop standard HR processes to facilitate continuous improvement.
Lead HR projects by utilizing strong project management skills while influencing, obtaining buy-in, and driving execution in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field; PHR/SPHR or SHRM – CP/SCP certification preferred.
7+ years of progressive HR generalist experience with proven success in an HR leadership role.
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage relationships and consult at a senior business level. People/relationship focus that inspires, motivates, and engages commitment.
Solid knowledge of federal and state employment laws and practices. Practical experience in process management and effectively applying HR knowledge.
Motivated self-starter who can work independently in a hectic environment and loves a challenge. Maintain focus and keep a strong eye on the details in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
