Job Description

Come join the Accelerator Architecture Lab (inside Intel Labs) at the center of an exciting revolution in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and new computing paradigms!We are looking for a highly motivated intern who wants to contribute to exciting research efforts on FPGA-based systems for data analytics using machine learning and deep learning. The successful candidate will work on experimenting with latest applications/algorithms and developing innovative solutions based on FPGAs. The work can include studying state-of-the-art algorithms, evaluating them using software frameworks, architecting solutions based on FPGAs, and prototyping/evaluating the proposed solutions.


Qualifications:* Current enrollment in a Ph.D or MS program in CS, EECS, ECE, or related computing discipline* Strong knowledge of computer architecture and FPGAs* Experience with FPGA prototyping and FPGA tools (e.g., Quartus, OpenCL SDK)* Strong Verilog and C++ skills* Quick and efficient application development and debug skills* Knowledge in data analytics/machine learning/deep learning and experience with relevant software frameworks (e.g., Caffe, Torch) is a plus
