Works with the employers’ Wellness Manager and Well-Being Champion Committee to develop a calendar of events, implement, and to increase engagement in and promote a culture of well-being. Demonstrates the value of HMSA’s portfolio of well-being solutions through various reports to employer groups in order to retain, renew, and acquire membership.Requires travel to employer work sites at least 50% of the time.Duties and Responsibilities:Well-being Plan Implementation:

  • Takes responsibility for activities related to implementation of all well-being activities on the plan. Sets up calendar and explains responsibilities, expectations, and logistics to make implementation successful. Coordinates tasks for all deliverables with team members as well as other HMSA departments, vendors, etc. Is accountable for ongoing delivery/operations, reporting, and outcomes measurement.

  • Manages internal and external customer relationships and participates in planning and evaluation sessions with partner Business Teams.

  • Attends major launch activities to support employer leaders and to gauge that participation levels are meeting expectations. Meets regularly with the employer’s Well-Being Manager and Well-Being Champions Committee to keep on track with all events on the calendar.

  • Works with clinical team to review reports and recommendations for future action plans.

  • Develops presentations and delivers reports such as WBA aggregate report, participation reports, HMSA claims utilization and other data. Provides recommendations for future action plans.

  • Reports progress on a weekly basis to Manager of Well-Being Programs and propose potential solutions for issues, alternatives to mitigate potential problems, and provides adequate notice for future resource needs.

Strategic and Tactical Planning:

  • When assigned, participates on the strategic planning team and meets face-to-face with stakeholders to assist in the development of strategic plans with employer groups that address health improvement and prevention opportunities through engagement in Well-Being Improvement Solutions. Once the plans are approved, develops tactical plans for the year by employing best practices and adhering to the Account Plan Map to increase employee engagement.

  • Leads planning sessions and meetings for internal work-streams as well as meetings that involve external participants and work groups.

Well-being Expertise:

  • Provides expertise on Well-Being Improvement Solutions and capabilities to internal stakeholders and external customers.

  • Works with stakeholders to help develop and execute plans to retain, renew, and acquire membership.

  • Provides ongoing training to internal staff on well-being tools, resources and solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s (BA) degree and three years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent customer service skills and a service-oriented attitude.Ability to respond to questions from members.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, includes Outlook, Word, and Excel.As needed must be able to push/pull usual weight of 10 pounds up to 25 pounds; carrying weight of 5 pounds; reaching above shoulder level with or without reasonable accommodations.Requires safely operating an insured automobile for travel to off-site locations (including neighbor island offices) to conduct and accomplish business related activities.Must have valid driver’s license, access to an automobile with current license, registration and no fault insurance for business travel for meetings with employer groups.EEO/AA/Disability/Vets Employer
