Kforce Sales Assistant / Account Coordinator in Greenville, Rhode Island

Kforce has a client seeking a Sales Assistant / Account Coordinator in Greenville, RI. Major Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers to coordinate placing orders and all necessary follow-up from order placement to delivery

  • Interact regularly with customers, Sales, Purchasing, Quality Control, Product Development, Merchandising and Operations

  • Create and send sales proposals to customer

  • Initiate and follow through all aspects of order processing (new & replenishment orders)

  • Create, update, and maintain all customer required forms, websites for new programs, item set ups, case packs, dims/weights, UPC, prices, factory info, port info, detailed descriptions, customs requirements, etc.)

  • Communicate customer updates/changes to appropriate personnel

  • Retail sales analysis

  • Coordinate and manage all sample requirements/requests

  • Review and run weekly vendor performance score cards

  • Meeting preparation which includes presentation books, sales reports, customer specific forms when necessary

  • Other projects and responsibilities as assigned

  • Ability to perform effectively under conditions of fluctuating workload and priorities

  • Ability to prioritize duties to complete tasks on time

  • Ability to keep and update a daily to do list that accurately reflects department goals

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with co-workers

  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers

  • Ability to work extra hours to meet deadlines.

  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel
