  • Manage customer base within assigned region

  • Develop accounts that provide a high level of profitability to the company

  • Manage and develop National Accounts that are assigned to this position and region

  • Seek accounts that move products in lanes that are compatible with the Celadon operations

  • Negotiate rates within the range established by the Marketing Department for both International and U.S. customers

  • Resolve/negotiable International and U.S. problems such as claims, payments, and service failures

  • Communicate information about the regions regarding competitor activities, services, and business changes within the region to management

  • Manage the sales effort to provide return loads for the equipment that is terminated in the region

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 5 years experience in the Transportation Industry, prefer College Degree with concentration in Logistics, Transportation, Marketing, or Accounting

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrate ability to work and manage in a team environment

  • Excellent written and communication skills

  • Good computer skills (MS, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
