Currently, Meijer is looking for a Retail Administrative Assistant.Provides store director, leadership, and team member administrative support in the retail unit assigned. Maintains and distributes store documents for regulatory and reporting purposes. Supports hourly hiring and the orientation process. Ensures that leadership and team member administrative needs are met. Job Deliverables:Responsible for general store administration, including answering phones, mail and email, ordering supplies, maintaining all store files, managing donation requests, and pay card administrationResponsible for regulatory tracking, administration and data requests for different licensing, drug screens, OSHA, unemployment, court documents, and work permitsCoordinate hourly hiring and orientation, including management of job postings, processing background checks, managing new hire paperwork, and coordinating new hire questionsCreate and run business, regulatory, and team member reports as requiredPromote a safe and healthy work environment as a member of the safety committee and as the store’s wellness championProvide support for team members and leaders by processing job changes, maintaining personnel files, updating communication boards and assisting with uniform ordersModels exceptional, fast and friendly customer serviceThis job profile is not meant to be all inclusive of the responsibilities of this position; may perform other duties as assigned or required

Job Requirements:High school diploma or equivalency required1 – 3 years of retail experience preferredDemonstrated ability to communicate to team members in the organization in a way that provides clear and precise informationHigh level of organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word and OutlookDemonstrated ability to mentor and support team members in all areas of the organization including team members in leadership and hourly positionsSuccessful completion of all required curriculums
