Customer Care and Aftersales Warehousing and Distribution:

Operations Supervisor : First-line supervisor of a medium sized group of hourly employees in a processing center or materials warehouse. Responsible for prompt unitizing, shipment and/or receipt of parts by efficient utilization of labor and equipment. Work consists of a number of involved clerical and manual operations with decisions made within the limits of general practices and procedures. Volume of work serves as a check on productivity. Handles all day to day supervisor functions including timekeeping, suggestions, BPD Board updates and compliance. Complies with the terms of local and national labor agreements.

Lean Warehousing Operations : An assignment in this area of Customer Care and Aftersales (CCA) will focus on analyzing and developing new warehousing methods, systems and layouts. This includes identifying process and layout improvement opportunities utilizing lean warehousing principles. There is an emphasis on the use of statistical methods to analyze current state and the cost benefit of alternative approaches. This assignment includes supporting plants on technical and operational issues. This assignment requires strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access (AutoCAD preferred)

Supply Chain & Logistics : An assignment in this area of Customer Care and Aftersales (CCA) will focus on scheduling and expediting parts from suppliers to CCA facilities. This includes resolving discrepancies between suppliers and receiving locations. The assignment will also include the initiation of electronic part change notices to service parts engineers to request the release of part changes. Other aspects of the assignment will focus on transaction updates and review of daily audit and reject reports.
