Key qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant experience required in demand management, S&OP, IBP processes, and statistical forecasting ideally in pharmaceutical industry

  • Fluent in Spanish and English

Technical skills valued:

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical business dynamics and demand characteristics

  • SAP/APO expertise

  • Exposure to Integrated Business Planning

  • Statistical modeling in forecasting

  • Data analytics platforms and methods applied to demand management

This role will be responsible for the governance and improvement of demand management process in LATAM in alignment with GSC, PGS and BU stakeholder's strategies and performance targets.

  • Implement and manage governance process for statistical forecasting improvement

  • Develop analytics platforms and processes to support business intelligence required for forecasting process at market level

  • Develop guidelines and standards for Demand Management and lead regional and market projects as required

SME for demand planning capability and coach and train colleagues as required.

Statistical Forecast Governance

  • Develop tools, reports and analytics on statistical forecast governance

  • Track adherence and deviations on statistical forecasting process and develop action plans with demand teams to close gaps

  • Coach demand planners in use of best statistical models for the relevant skus, and develop guidelines and training material on statistical forecasting

Analytics for Demand Planning and forecasting

  • Assessment of internal and external data used for forecasting process (BFR and CDF) in the markets

  • Develop, and support implementation of tools to improve use of internal and external data in forecasting models

  • Support institutional sales forecasting process at market level

Improvement initiatives

  • Set continuous improvement forecasting accuracy annual targets by segment and channel

  • Own the demand capability center for Latin America Region

  • Lead assessments of demand capabilities, and support initiatives to close gaps as required related but not limited to system usage, technical skills, and business processes

  • Participate and lead the deployment of the global initiatives related to demand management

Demand Planning LATAM SME

  • Represent region in the global demand team

  • Encourage the identification and sharing of best practices and lessons learned across LATAM markets and other regions

Play an active role in Demand Planning Communities of Practice
