We are seeking a detail oriented, highly organized individual with strong problem solving and communication skills to work in the Accounts Payable department within Oldcastle Southern Group.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete daily invoicing for Concrete and Asphalt businesses, as needed.

  • Responsible for re-bills, correcting errors and re-submission of invoices to customers

  • Assist with providing support for audit requests

  • Check and validate customer pricing

  • Mailing invoices and statements to customers

  • Assist customers with various requests, as needed

  • Support other team members in meeting daily billing deadlines

  • Enter and submit daily sales volumes in Hyperion

  • Responsible for maintaining and compliance with all SOX controls

  • Involvement in process improvement initiatives and establishing best practices

  • File/organize records per retention requirements and team guidelines

Qualifications:

  • High school equivalent or greater

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years billing experience

  • Construction industry experience a plus, but not required

  • Strong Excel and Word skills

  • Aptitude for repetition and data entry

  • Desire to work with high sense of urgency

  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions

  • Self-starter. Detail oriented. Strong problem solving and communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
