IDC Marketing Manager, Digital Content in Framingham, Massachusetts

IDC is seeking an experienced Digital Content Manager to develop and measure the results of campaigns in high growth technology markets.

IDC, the premier global market intelligence firm, is seeking a results-oriented Marketing Manager focused on planning, creating and implementing digital content marketing programs that drive visibility and leads. This individual will work closely with research analysts, sales, marketing, and product management to increase customer engagement and deliver leads through measurable content marketing efforts.


  • Writing and managing the production of content marketing assets including eBooks, White Papers, videos, infographics, PPTs, email promotions, as well as short and long form social media content
  • Analyzing the performance metrics of integrated marketing programs to inform and recommend future strategies
  • Overseeing creative development of digital assets and design best practices through collaboration and management of internal and external designer resources
  • Creating compelling website content that supports corporate brand visibility and strategic initiatives
  • Working with IT to optimize content to advance search performance (SEO), increase website engagement, enhance the mobile experience, and increase lead generation activity
  • Supporting the development of product marketing materials and external sales tools with particular focus on bringing new products to market in key growth areas


Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of B2B content marketing experience, preferably in the IT industry
  • Exceptional written skills and proven ability to synthesize content into an integrated storyline
  • Experience creating content for the Web, mobile content and growing a social audience
  • Project management skills and an understanding of how to manage stakeholder priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of campaign management and analytics is preferred
  • Knowledge of Exact Target and Brainshark (or similar tools) is preferred
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO best practices preferred

Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
