Philips Marketing Communications Manager (MARCOM) in Framingham, Massachusetts

Your Challenge:

The Marcom Manager – at Philips Lifeline- Home monitoring - Healthcare is responsible for converting marketing and communication

strategies into materials supporting integrated campaigns for new and existing target markets at Philips Lifeline. The role works closely with Field Marketing and Product Managers to support

integrated campaigns. The role is responsible for all aspects of marketing communications, including

product launches, marketing collateral (e.g., brochures, advertisements), trade-show materials,

direct mail, email and digital advertisements.

Your Responsibilities:

■ Develop a deep understanding of Home Monitoring –Lifeline Business Innovation Unit (BIU) customer

segments and audiences, their challenges, and how the business addresses specific customer problems

■ Maintain knowledge of the combination of products, services, and third party partnerships

that comprise business solutions

■ Support Product Managers in crafting marketing/communication campaigns that support

their overall objectives

■ Stay current with and integrate the latest innovations and best practices in the Communications

field to continually improve campaign effectiveness

■ Support campaigns by creating collateral and designing booths for trade shows

■ Coordinate with sales support center, field marketing and the NPI coordinator when

relevant to equip the Sales team with campaign messaging and materials to target existing

markets and shape new ones

■ Create a marcom plan for areas under management to facilitate budgeting and business decisions

■ Keep abreast of relevant market trends, competitive activities, legislative issues, and end user issues

■ Deliver high-class digital Marketing campaigns for the organization, leveraging inputs from

Field Marketing and Product Management teams

■ Develop and deploy digital initiatives including (1) demand generation; and (2) e-nurturing

■ Manage existing photography assets and commission new product and lifestyle photography according to global branding, using approved vendors


■ Creative ability to translate clinical value proposition and other Product Management content

into an effective campaign

■ Experience managing relationships and contracts with external vendors

■ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to be able to craft and refine uniform

product messaging across a variety of media types

■ Proficient understanding of visual design tools, such as Adobe Photoshop and In Design, to

oversee development and design process of collateral

■ Experience with high-tech or medical device product launch to be able to provide insight

into effective communication mediums for industry-specific customer segments

■ Ability to identify, synthesize and prioritize key issues facing the Marketing

Communications teams and resolve roadblocks

■ Strong negotiation and presentation skills

■ Ability to work cross-functionally and globally, identifying synergies between businesses

and markets to drive efficiencies and consistency of messaging

■ Expertise delivering complex projects to meet demanding feature, cost, quality and

introduction date targets by juggling multiple priorities simultaneously

■ Experience effectively interacting with senior marketing leaders and global counterparts on

matters concerning strategy

■ Solid experience managing photography assets, as well as commissioning new photography, according

to global/sector branding guidelines

■ Detail oriented in executing campaigns

■ Views successful campaign as one with a high ROI

■ Collaborative attitude; willingness to support product line managers’ goals

Your Profile:

■ 8+ years’ experience in marketing communications ( preferred Healthcare MARCOM experience)

■ Bachelor’s degree in marketing communications or equivalent preferred

■ Healthcare or HealthTech marketing experience preferred

■ 3-4 years’ experience in digital marketing

■ High-tech product launch experience
