Job Description

Intel’s Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group is hiring for a new SSD Validation Test Engineer to join our growing team of professional technical experts.

This role’s responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.

  • Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans.

  • Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures.

  • Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.

  • Analyzes test results to ensure correct functionality, determine root causes of failures and recommends corrective action.

  • Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.

  • Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.


Required Skills/Experience (Must Have)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineer

  • 1+ years experience in validation or related field

  • Proficiency with software programming, preferably Python

Required Skills/Experience (Must Have)

  • Platform knowledge to include Windows and Linux operating

systems, memory solutions, and system drivers

  • Experience with non-volatile memory solutions and SSD protocol

  • Proficiency in system level debug
