Summary of Responsibilities:
The Renewals Specialist is part of Ellie Mae Sales Operations Department under the Sales and Services organization and is responsible for processing and supporting All Encompass Renewals. It is a highly cross-functional position. Working effectively in a matrix organization is imperative to this role. The position reports to the Sales Ops Manager. Candidates should have a strong background in Sales processes, thorough understanding of Renewal contracts and strong technical knowledge of Salesforce.com. Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced, time and sensitive environment.
Primary Responsibilities & Objectives
Responsible for the analysis, validation, routing of approvals, and processing of all Renewal contracts, understanding the current product and pricing guidelines to ensure accuracy.
Work on complex problems of broad scope where analysis of situations or information requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
Superb at prioritizing incoming request by monitoring personal dashboard, pipeline and making sure special requests are processed same day.
Actively guide, advice, and consult with sales teams and key stakeholders (including Finance, Services, Legal, Provisioning team).
Ability to understand business and legal concepts, including subtle distinctions and nuances
Vet all deals to ensure appropriate process has been applied to ensure submissions meet company and audit compliance.
Provides support throughout the entire Contract Management Process cycle, from contract creation through provisioning.
Work with department management to maximize process efficiencies.
Candidate performs in a fast paced environment and meet time sensitive deadlines.

Develop a working partnership with the Sales team.
New client approval and creation process, data management, account ownership enforcement, processing returns and refunds,
General administrative duties related to sales, including managing contracts, e-filing, and general accounts maintenance.
Maintain data integrity.
Participate in the completion and execution of team goals to excel in order processing, contract management and implementation & enhancement of procedures and performance standards.
Participate in other projects and initiatives as necessary.
Qualifications, Skills and Education:
5 + years of “Renewal Desk” experience with deep knowledge of Contract processing
Proficient on Salesforce.com – mandatory.
Comfortable using any quoting tool.
Self-starter with a proven track record in a sales support role with top notch customer service skills and superb sense of urgency.
Excellent attention to detail and proven organizational skills, able to prioritize and multi-task and see projects/assignments to completion, balancing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Process-oriented, accountable and trustworthy.
Experience working in an extremely fast-paced environment, Mortgage/Banking experience a plus
Highly autonomous; strong analysis, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Effective team player who also possesses the ability to work independently, make judgment calls and take ownership of outcome from those decisions
