CACI International SHIPPING SPECIALIST - LOGISTICIAN in Fayetteville, North Carolina

Job Description:

Position Summary:

Under minimal supervision employee will be responsible for the timely and accurate shipment of all materials and equipment from the CACI NSS SCES Warehouse Facilities to its designated location. Assist in the facilitation of all warehouse actions associated with the Life Cycle Sustainment Management, Training, Integration, Maintenance and Testing of material and equipment stored in all CACI NSS SCES Warehouse Facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

-- Responsible for the Processing of OCONUS Freight within 2 days of material being turned in from Testing.

-- Process CONUS Freight within 2 days of material being turned in from Testing.

-- Process standard shipment within 1 days of material being turned in from Testing or pulling material request in support of integration if a new build LOM is submitted, the warehouse has 5 days from the time the LOM is received to deliver the material to integration. For individual parts being requested locally the material must be pulled within one hour of request.

-- Ensure proper packaging of material and verify all shipments before leaving the warehouse.

-- Track all shipments on shipment log and maintain filing system for shipments. Report any delays within 1 hour of notification on any shipment to the Logistics Lead.

-- Ensure CACI NSS SCES processes are utilize and Quality assurance checklist is applied on every shipment.

-- Ensure all COLTS transactions are completed within 24 hours of movement.

-- Maintain Back order report and informed Tech Support, SME’s and Project Managers to resolve cross program pull of material or procurement of items.

-- Assist with any other projects within CACI Logistics as needed to include operation MHE and logistics vehicle.

Required Qualifications:

-- Must have a current Secret clearance or higher.

-- High school diploma or GED.

-- Two (2) years of experience, to include: facilitating and expediting the flow of materials to and from various departments, dealing directly with vendors to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of goods to appropriate locations, and inspecting goods upon delivery to verify delivered goods match order specifications.

-- Must understand government contracting and the use of government funds.

Desired Qualifications:

-- Three years’ experience in DoD life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, to include: logistics principles, practices, and processes. Of the required 3 years, individual shall have one (1) year support of C4ISR systems.

-- Must have a basic working knowledge of Microsoft office to include excel and word. Must be able to obtain CACI Fork lift and Walking Stacker certification.

-- Good working knowledge of government form DD 1149, DA 2061, DA 3161, DD 250
