Description

Summary Handles administrative details for a low-mid level supervisor or manager of the location (such as a department oroperationsmanager) by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Answers telephone, conveys messages, and runs errands.

Arranges appointments and schedules meetings, coordinating travel arrangements when necessary.

Prepares correspondence, bills, statements, receipts, checks, or other documents.

Proofreads records or forms.

Sorts and files records.

Runs and distributes various reports.

Receives money and deposits money in bank.

Stuffs and addresses envelopes or packages.

Stamps, sorts, and distributes mail.

Photocopies documents.

May provide backup support to the Receptionist.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

Mathematical Skills

Basic math skills required.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to work in a computerized environment and have basic knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
