Performs a variety of entry-level security tasks. Routinely performs security rounds. Patrols grounds and building premises. Provides emergency medical assistance. Assists front office services. Provides shuttle service. Assist with maintenance tasks. Answers calls from customers, employees, and management to respond to queries.
Works under general supervision to provide facility security.
Provides unarmed guarding and patrolling of premises and security rounds.
Assists with medical emergencies.
Assists with front office services.
Provides shuttle service.
Assists with maintenance tasks.
Records information and prepares reports.
Maintains records of security activities in the appropriate records and logs.
Performs duties required by departmental supervision.
Answers calls from customers, employees, and management to respond to inquiries.
This job normally requires a level of knowledge in security service equivalent to that which would be acquired through the completion of some college or equivalent certification.
Demonstration of directly related work experience, which has provided an equivalent breadth, and depth of knowledge may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement.
Proficiency in the use of computer business applications with working knowledge of computerized hotel reservations systems.
This job normally requires two years of experience in positions involving law enforcement or security services.
EMT or advanced first aid certification and practical experience preferred.
A current, valid Alaska driver’s license, with a clean driving record is required.
Minimum age of 18 is required.
