Right now, we are seeking aSenior Manager, Internal Audit based at Western Union’s Denver headquarters in Englewood, Colorado.

In this role, you will plan and perform financial and operational audits as well as consulting projects and assist with Sarbanes Oxley reviews under the supervision the Director, Internal Audit.

In addition, you will:

  • Be responsible for:

  • Project supervision of staff, seniors, and managers, leading audit planning

  • Creating audit programs and testing against prepared audit programs

  • Preparation and review of work papers

  • Communicating with external audit and business management

  • Plan and execute financial and operational audits, with a focus on high-risk complex businesses and/or multiple business groups including accounting, financial reporting, tax, treasury and procurement.

  • Collaborate with business partners to balance business strategy with appropriate risk management controls.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, or related area of study

  • Minimum seven years’ experience in Audit

  • Professional certification preferred (i.e., CAMS, CPA, CISA, CISSP, CIA)

  • Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills

  • Detail oriented

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and be able to function well within in a team oriented environment as well as establish and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally

  • Operational knowledge of common hardware and software preferred (e.g., Microsoft Office suite etc.)
