POSITION SUMMARY

This is an extremely unique opportunity to work with a small, fast paced IT organization with the support and backing of a large enterprise company. The role will provide the ability to show leadership across many different disciplines and provide the ability to shape the direction and technology future for Phoenix Data Center Hosting Services (PDCHS) and Aetna affiliate companies.

Fundamental Components - Accountable and responsible for adherence to Problem and Change Management processes including escalation procedures for critical problems- Understand, interpret and satisfy agreed-upon customer requirements- Monitor Utility performance and measure customer satisfaction- Use capacity planning tool(s) to develop forecasts based on trends and customer input for business demand and functionality- Communicates expectations for performance by setting goals and planning how to achieve them- Select, develop and evaluate staff. Determine appropriate staffing levels. Realign organizational structure when appropriate- Ensure appropriate and timely training. Research training opportunities and establish training plans- Communicate project plans and provide overall direction and department goals for employees& provide overall direction and department goals for employees- Select technologies and product sets used within computing environmentBACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:10 years of Enterprise class IT leadership, background and experienceMinimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a Director capacityConsulting background and experience is highly desirableReviews and absorbs data from multiple sources and uses that information to develop insights about customers, products, processes and problem solving Actively participates in leading the change process. Translates the impact of change for others and guides them through the process of transformation Resolve conflicts while maintaining good constituent relationships Maintains focus on achieving a positive outcome for constituents and Aetna EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Note: Will be required to travel 25% of time
