Right now, we are seeking a Configuration Manager, Xactly based at our global headquarters office in Englewood, CO.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing our Sales Performance Management System, Xactly. Creating and maintaining an effective roadmap for the ongoing design, configuration and support of the system by engaging with the broader Sales Compensation team. The right person for this role has a collaborative and influential leadership style as they will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders, will have the ability to think creatively about solutions, and balance business needs with system capabilities. This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Sales Compensation and will interact with senior level HR and business leaders including global Sales, HR, Finance, IT, Data Privacy, and Legal.

In addition, you will:

  • Provide over-sight for the on-going development, configuration and enhancement of Xactly SPM technology system. Anticipate and effectively manage the entire Xactly landscape.

  • Partner and train a high performing team of sales compensation professionals on the best practices, processes and policies for effective use of the Xactly SPM.

  • Create and lead an impactful vision in support of the ongoing adoption of the Xactly SPM platform to include opportunities in effective use and utilization of the technology within the Sales Organizations

  • Build a collaborative environment for the team with a focus on a customer centric mindset

  • Provide leadership and oversight of the monthly Xactly upgrades, testing, implementation and move to production activities; ensure delivered functionality performs as expected

  • Analyze existing process and data flows to identify, develop and implement process improvements

  • Lead the development of internal and sales facing reporting and analytics from the Xactly system.

  • Support the day to day activities of the Xactly SPM.

  • Define ongoing architecture and roadmap for the Xactly SPM

  • Provide direction to specialists in support of configuration and testing activities via MS project.

  • Ability to set direction, execute and deliver results.


  • Bachelor's degree: Human Resources, Mathematics, Computer Science or similar field

  • 5+ years’experience supporting Sales Performance Management applications

  • 2 years’sales incentive or commission experience preferred

  • Project Management Experience

  • Familiar with implementation, strategy, development and support of SPM’s (Xactly preferred)

  • 3+ years leadership experience

  • Proficient in advanced techniques of Microsoft Excel & Access

  • Excellent analytical skills, business and financial acumen

  • Ability to travel (minimal)

  • Ability to work with SQL (preferred)

  • MS Project certification (preferred)

  • Global experience preferred

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and experience

  • Must be able to present complex ideas to tell the‘story’and share key information based on data and effective, impactful visualization

  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Sales Performance Management systems, including planning, implementing and maintaining security guidelines to support our HR business model and in alignment with audit requirements

  • Proven ability to think strategically, work collaboratively, and balance multiple competing priorities

  • Excellent analytical capabilities, conceptual thinker with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear messages and executable plans

  • Ability to successfully influence outcomes
