Our Oil & Gas Facilities Project Manager position offers an exciting opportunity to help our clients provide a safe and reliable source of energy in support of millions of people. Each day, you will be leading teams working on oil & gas projects that include liquid and natural gas transportation and storage systems, pump stations, compressor stations, refining operations, and gas processing facilities. You will integrate resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, and quality considerations across the diverse engineering, purchasing, construction, and start-up aspects. You should have 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas Facilities, managing multiple aspects of the project life cycle (feasibility studies through construction), be a self-motivated professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, and a desire to grow personally as well as professionally with each new project. Additionally, for this position, you must be able to work “on loan” at a local Denver-area client facility directly supporting their organization for a minimum of one year. Our Oil & Gas Facilities Project Manager: • Set expectations and drive ownership of health & safety across all aspects of project execution. • Manage the execution of engineering work, schedules, and budgets for the assigned project elements, monitor progress to maintain schedules and budgets; identify and document scope changes • Have a high ability to manage multiple small projects simultaneously, yet can step up to lead larger projects when needed. • Collaborate directly with clients, business development and project teams to provide and develop high quality, leading edge engineering solutions to our clients that differentiate CH2M in the market place. • Develop effective project execution plans using CH2M’s processes and tools. Monitor and report to management on the progress of project activity. • Promote technical excellence, including furtherance of the Quality Improvement Process. • Work closely with Business Development to help develop and leverage client relationships. Support business planning process. • Work effectively with minimal supervision, interface with a variety of people and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment. • Possess knowledge of diverse oil and gas facilities, such as pump stations, compressor stations, field processing (liquid separation, pumps/compressors), gas processing (purification, fractionation), and refining. • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable and effective both up and down within the organization. • Experience with all project life-cycle phases and associated Stage Gate processes as they are related to engineering and procurement deliverables. • Provide leadership to and guidance to project controls to right size project reporting based on the type of project and specific client including solid understanding of EVMS, scheduling, and change management. Minimum Qualifications
• BS degree in Engineering from accredited college or university or 20+ years of applicable industry experience • 10 years engineering experience and 5 years as a project engineer and/or project manager. • 5 years of experience in oil & gas facilities. • Ability to travel (1-2 trips/month) Preferred Qualifications
• PE Registration and PMP certification • Business Development experience • Field (operations and construction) experience
