Right now, we are seeking aBusiness Analyst - Ops, based at Western Union’s global headquarters in Englewood, Colorado.

In this role, you will assist Stakeholders with analyzing and documenting requirements and clearly communicating this information. The Solutions Analyst (Business Analyst – Ops) will function as a core member of an enterprise project team which consists of Project Managers, Analyst, Application Developers and Business Stakeholders.

In addition, you will:

  • Assist in systems projects to support product or regulatory needs

  • Develop business requirements and user testing efforts

  • Consistently meet project deadlines while completing thorough documentation and information sharing throughout


  • Ability to analyze and document detailed business requirements while working with technical teams to provide the best solution to Stakeholders

  • Organize, prioritize and manage documentation of multiple complex business requirements

  • Highly detail orientated with demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Demonstrated experience delivering well-documented requirements

  • Minimum 2 years Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-money laundering compliance, general compliance and/or risk based compliance, with an understanding of technology and best practices in the compliance field

  • Project management experience/knowledge with ability to drive projects to successful completion

  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, influencing, prioritization, decision making and conflict resolution skills

  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with all levels of management

  • Knowledge of MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access required

  • Knowledge of DB2, SQL, Business Objects, Visual Basic, and Visio

  • High-level organizational skills with the ability to balance pressure and deadlines with changing priorities

  • Team player with strong collaborative qualities, positive demeanor and risk mitigation mindset
