TASC, an Engility Company, is seeking an experienced Systems Engineering Plan Engineer to join a dynamic engaging team that brings out the best of your technical skills while defending American warfighters. Our highly trained technical team provides launch and systems engineering support of the MILSATCOM Analysis, Systems Integration and Test, and Engineering Services (MASIES) in El Segundo, California.

Key Activities include the following:

  • Develop Systems Engineering Plans (SEP)

  • Assess program SEPs, identify OSD criteria shortfalls and provide recommendations

  • Facilitate resolution of SEP requirements discrepancy issues

  • Adjudicate SEP comments received from stakeholders and external organizations

  • Coordinate with stakeholders and external organizations to facilitate SEP approval

Required Qualifications:

  • BS degree in engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline with an emphasis in communication systems with 10+ years of relevant technical experience

  • Proficient in all aspects of Systems Engineering: Requirements, Architecture, Test, Schedule, Risk & Logistics, Safety and Sustainment

  • Experience in SEP development

  • Familiar with OSD-approved outline for SEP

  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Must be able to work with no or minimal supervision

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline

  • 10+ years’ experience in systems engineering

  • 5+ years’ experience in DoD and commercial SATCOM and network engineering

  • 5+ years’ experience with military space systems and protected MILSATCOM systems

  • 5+ years’ experience with ground systems, such as terminals and network
