Dell Principal Developer(s) in Draper, Utah
Worksite: Draper, Utah, and various unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
Job Duties: Lead and participate in the design, development and deployment of business software applications. Design and build software applications from the ground up as well as the customize, extend, and implement third party software products. Provide technical expertise in developing business solutions. Have technical ownership of multiple applications and work closely with functional resources to ensure that applications are fulfilling business requirements. Provide work leadership to others and interface with senior management to provide and obtain information to build consensus regarding project direction. Develop and provide appropriate assignments, tasks, evaluate work, communicate progress toward project goals and coordinate and help prioritize project tasks and deliverables. Oversee and participates in the development and unit testing of solutions as specified in the Technical Design and obtain code reviews from appropriate technical staff and ensures standards and policies are adhered to. Responsible for mentoring junior developers with code reviews, design reviews, and unit test plan reviews. May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Comp. Sci., Engin,(any), Business, Math, Physics, or related technical field. 60 months experience in job offered or computer-related occupation. Experience must include 60 months of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Experience must include 60 months of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Experience must include: 1) Spring Technologies (Spring MVC, Spring Batch Processing, and Spring AOP); 2) SOAP Web Services; 3) Hibernate; 4) SAS Programming; 5) JUnit; 6) JDBC; 7) Struts 2.0; and 8) Servlets and JSP. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
